One of the next projects is to build a 1000W PA for 144 MHz based on this 1500W pallet from W6PQL. (look for MRF1k50 version 2/3 down the page)
I know it’s a 1500W pallet, but will drive it for 1000W only, as these LDMOS devices is expensive to replace. Have some knowledge from my 1296 and 432MHz projects 🙁
This project will most likely be a 95% repeat of the latest 432 MHz 1000W PA project.
I have all parts needed for the project, so it’s just picking the right day to start 🙂
